These guerrilla videos are from a show late in '07 at The Mercy Lounge in Nashville, shot on my little handheld Panasonic PV-GS250. Excellent show. I'm Bored (anybody know if that's the title?) Doubter Out Of Jesus (All Over You) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . This triple-exposure Holga portrait and the 2nd photo on the setup (same coat) are by San Francisco photographer Peter Ellenby. Have you seen Peter's book, Every Day is Saturday, from Chronicle Books? If not, find out about it here, buy a copy here (the book comes with a 21-song CD), and visit ellenby.com to enjoy more of his images. The gig photographs featured throughout the interview were taken on November 1, 2007, at The Dame in Lexington, KY, by Lexington photographer Richie Wireman. See more of his music photos at his flickr pages (the series there of Wilco at Louisville's Slugger Field is cool viewed in order). At his site, dig the moody skate scene shots then check out the wedding photography he does in collaboration with Jeanna Justice (if you're far from Kentucky and not currently planning a wedding, you might not expect to care but be surprised, as something extraordinary is coming out of their teamwork).
