Folk Alliance Conference 2004 (continued)

I look forward to Montreal next year, and think we must look into doing a Puremusic.com Showcase room. If anybody has something they'd like to share about the pros and cons of doing a showcase room, I'm all ears, and grateful in advance.

Adrienne Young

I'm really glad I went to San Diego, it was a mighty good time. Great to see friends, picked up some gig leads, played and saw a whole lot of good music, up close and personal. It you want to forward us any of your observations about the Conference, we're interested. Just use the "talk to us" link (or click here). And we'll see you next year, if not before…

And if you're even considering checking out a Folk Alliance Conference, you owe it to yourself, it's an amazing experience. Whether you're a songwriter, interested in doing house concerts, becoming a booking agent, or just like the kind of music that centers around acoustic instruments and singer songwriters, you gotta check it out. Pay a visit to www.folk.org to find out more about everything connected to the Folk Alliance and their annual conference. • FG

[Our thanks to Neale Eckstein for the use of his fine photographs. Neale and his wife Laurie Laba present the Fox Run Concerts in Sudbury, MA. Where not otherwise noted, photos by FG. And you'll find a few more conference pictures here.]
